Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast with Herb Butter Filling

Woah now that's mouthful to spell, but imagine its taste. As delicious as it is, this recipe certainly will help you who's in keto diet to gain more muscle and shake that fat cells away. The best thing is, you'll only need a skillet to cook.

Ingredients :

250gr Porkies smoked or natural bacon

300gr Boneless chicken breast, halved

150gr Shimeji mushroom

150gr Cheese, grated (mozarella or cheddar)

30gr Unsalted butter

Dried oregano, dried parsley flakes, garlic powder, blackpepper and salt to taste

 

 

Directions :

1. Place boneless chicken breast on a secure mat and flat it using meat tenderizer

2. In a small bowl, whisk unsalted butter, dried oregano, parsley, garlic powder, blackpepper and salt. Set aside

3. Spread the butter on the flattened chicken breast and top it off with whole shimeji mushroom

4. Roll the chicken, and secure the position with toothpicks.

5. Wrap the bacon around rolled chicken, secure with cotton twine

6. Spread the leftover butter on your skillet surface , add olive oil

7. Cook on stove with medium heat, use the edge of your skillet  to brown the sides. Bathe them with oil and butter

8. Using thermometer, check if the center of your bacon wrapped chicken reaches 50*C

9. Rest the chicken before you serve
